Students at the University of Nevada, Reno, Raise over $18,000 for Renown Children’s Hospital

Did you know Miracle Network Dance Marathon is a movement benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals? Since 1991, the marathon has raised more than $200 million for kids across North America, ensuring that no child or family fights pediatric illness or injury alone.

Every year, Miracle Dance Marathons all over the country fundraise for their local children’s hospital. In northern Nevada, students at the University of Nevada, Reno, dedicate the school year to raising awareness for Renown Children’s Hospital.

This school year, their fundraising efforts culminated at the annual dance marathon on March 5, 2022. Students raised over $18,000 to benefit Renown Children’s Hospital. Donations fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays, and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these health services.

Students reveal the total amount of donations raised for Renown Children’s Hospital on March 5, 2022.

Thank you to all of the students at UNR for their kindness, generosity, and for Fighting the Good Fight. Change kids’ health, change the future. Because kids can’t wait.
