Happy Panda Cares Day

Following the establishment of its inaugural Panda Cares Day™ in 2019, Panda Cares®, the philanthropic arm of Panda Express®, commemorates its anniversary on August 8 every year with a celebration of giving back. Today, we’re celebrating this incredible partnership and the impact it has had on our community.

Since 2008, our local Panda Express Restaurants and its customers have raised more than $500,000 to support patients and families at Renown Children’s Hospital. Funds are raised through employee giving and customers rounding up change at the register, year-round. These funds support hospital renovations and expansions, provide resources and allow us to purchase state-of-the-art-equipment needed to care for our unique pediatric patients. Most recently, Panda Express committed to a $2 million pledge to open the Panda Cares Center of Hope at Renown Children’s Pediatric Specialty Care Center to benefit not only patients, but those who make their regular visits for treatment in the outpatient area.

Panda Express truly demonstrates compassion right from the heart to give back to our local community and Renown Children’s Hospital appreciates their partnership and friendship.
